Patients with dysplastic Barrett’s Esophagus (BE) who had poor response to RFA (persistent intestinal metaplasia or dysplasia after ≥3 RFA treatments or <50% resolution after 2 treatments) show significant improvement with PENTAX Medical C2 CryoBalloonTM therapy (CbFAS).

Preliminary Outcomes from the NO FEAR-BE Study (26 of 54 participants):

• 80.8% achieved complete eradication of intestinal metaplasia (CEIM) at a mean of 216.8 days with 3.2 CbFAS treatments.

• The same percentage achieved complete eradication of dysplasia (CED).
